Deer Valley Turkey Chili Spice Mix + Turkey Chili
The first part of the recipe is how to make the spice mix that goes into the turkey chili, and the second part is how to make the turkey chili using the spice mix.

Spice Mix
| 1 cup All-purpose flour |
| 1/2 cup Corn flour |
| 2 tbsp Coarse sea salt |
| 2 tbsp Chili Powder |
| 2 tbsp Cumin |
| 1/2 tsp Cayenne pepper |
| 1 tbsp Paprika |
| 1 tsp Italian herb mix |
| 2 tsp Dried oregano, crumbled |
Turkey Chili Ingredients
| 1/2 cup Unsalted butter |
| 2 medium Anaheim Chilis, seeded & Chopped |
| 2 large onions, chopped |
| 7 stalks Celery, chopped |
| 1 large red bell pepper, chopped |
| 4 cloves Garlic, minced |
| 2 cups Frozen Corn |
| 1/2 cup Heavy whipping cream |
| 2 cans Black beans, rinsed |
| 3 lb Diced roasted chicken |
Deer Valley Turkey Chili Spice Mix + Turkey Chili Directions
- Whisk together all spice mix ingredients.
- Store or use immediately.
- In a large pot, melt the butter.
- Over medium-high heat, saute all of the vegetables (except the garlic) for about 6 minutes.
- Stir in spice mix with about 1 cup of the chicken broth, and mix until well blended.
- Add remaining chicken broth, chicken, corn, whipping cream and black beans and stir thoroughly, then bring to a simmer.
- Simmer 25-30 minutes stirring occasionally to keep from sticking.
